Re-Focus - Creating Better Pictures

We begin with an overview of the overall photographic process. This workshop will provide information and insights to create more powerful photos. We'll explore the foundations of photography as a language and build a new set of skills to communicate in that language. You'll learn how to visualize compelling compositions and how to use lighting to convey your vision. Combine this with visualization and an understanding of light and its varied and changing characteristics. You'll discover how to make color, line, shape, texture and perspective work for you and leave with creative tools to improve your photos.

All of this is put together in a field trip here in Indiana that will demonstrate what has been learned and how to put this knowledge to practical use. Bring any digital camera - cell phone, point and shoot or SLR.
